Our natural products are tanned and dyed using traditional, plant-based tanning methods which give these bags an eye-catching vintage look. This natural process gives the leather a unique smell, which can be strong at first but will wear off as you use your product. The surface of the leather may have a couple of small marks or scratches due to the fact that we use leather from free-range goats. But don't panic! A little bit of beeswax helps improve the look of marks, enhances the vintage look and uniqueness of your bag. The products in our “Gusti Leder studio” range are manufactured by companies in Italy and India who work in accordance with international labour standards. The products in this range are made from cowhide, buffalo, and goatskin leather. The leather is chemically tanned and will win you over with its robustness.
