Are you bubbling over with creativity? Can’t wait to get started on your next project? You’ll find a range of leather DIY materials here that you can use for your next project. We have everything you need for your next DIY project; from different-sized pieces of leather, which you can use to create something new, repair an old friend, and do the odd bit of DIY, to a selection of different leather straps and cords. We also sell cans of beeswax to ensure that your beautiful leather artwork stands the test of time.
Our DIY materials come in three different types of leather. You can choose from:
Goatskin leather DIY products are a little more rigid at first, but if you use them regularly, they’ll soften quickly. Our cowhide and buffalo leather products are more stable than those made of goatskin leather due to the nature of the material. This leather maintains its rigid structure and the leather will soften naturally over time.
Transparent production: for you from Gusti Leather
Our product lines are just as diverse as our product range. The products in our “Gusti Leather nature” brand are all about sustainability. This is because this range only features Gusti Leather products that are manufactured by small family businesses in India using traditional, handmade vegetable-tanned goatskin leather. Individuality and uniqueness ring true here—each product is a complete one of a kind.
Our “Gusti Leather studio” range will win you over with its functional timeless yet modern design. The cowhide and buffalo leather products in this range are chemically tanned using chromium salts by certified companies in India, making them particularly stable and durable.
Gusti Leather only works with companies in India and Italy that meet international labour and human rights standards. In order to ensure the consistent high-quality of our leather products, we regularly conduct random spot checks at our independent laboratories and carry out unannounced visits to the work areas, during which compliance with contractually defined production and labour standards is checked. If these standards are being violated, we act in accordance with our zero-tolerance policy and immediately terminate contracts with these companies.
